Targa High Country
Sold Out!
In what is looming as an unprecedented success for a new motor sport event in Australia, we can now say that Targa High Country is sold out with a waiting list that will fill spots in the 225 car field as they become available through withdrawal of invited entries. The field is a good split between classic and modern to give all the new Targa fans plenty of entertainment.
The Mansfield street stage followed by Targa Fest in the main street is certainly going to bring the town alive with 225 of the world’s finest cars descending on the town. With 16 stages over 200 competitive kilometres, lunch stops in Wangaratta and Eildon, and 2,000 people staying on top of Mt. Buller bringing the alpine village alive, the High Country region of Victoria will play host to the 2nd largest tarmac rally in the country.
The event was recently launched by the Victorian Government with many local councillors were in attendance. A big thank you to Brian and Linda Dermott for organising some cars to attend the launch.
Don’t miss it.
